Let’s Build a World Where Everyone Can Dive into What They Love — The Future of Learning Beyond School Walls

I recently passed Japan’s IT Passport Exam — a national-level certification often taken by working adults.
What surprised me wasn’t my own result, but the fact that 137 students under 15, including 4 under 10, have already passed it.

It’s astonishing that children who haven’t even reached double digits are tackling such material.
But what’s more inspiring is the mindset of their parents: they didn’t limit their child’s curiosity with age-based assumptions.

One of my own students, who rarely did homework, loved taking things apart — from chairs to computers.
Instead of stopping him, his parents let him explore. Today, he’s thriving in a robotics club that competes internationally.

As AI evolves exponentially, education can’t rely solely on “fixing weaknesses.”
Instead, we must foster environments where each learner can pursue their passion fully.

That’s why I propose a new goal:

Establish MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) for all grades and all subjects.

Imagine a platform where a 10-year-old can take university-level science courses,
or a college student can revisit middle school math for fun.
A place to learn Korean culture, beauty science, or growth mindset — all in one open digital campus.

It’s time to reimagine schooling not as a box, but as a launchpad for curiosity.
Let’s create a society where everyone, regardless of age or place, can immerse themselves in what they love.

Warm regards,
TobiraAI
